Role Details

  • Location: Lonsdale Depot (work locally and support your community)
  • Employment Basis: Permanent Part-Time
  • Weekly Hours: 27.5 hours per week
  • Shift: Primarily PM shift, with ability to work early morning and day shifts as required
  • Hourly Rate: $25.2216 – $29.0048 (dependent on shift times worked)

Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the Workshop Supervisor, your main duties will include:

  • Cleaning the interior and exterior of company cars as required.
  • Cleaning the interior of buses, including seats, floors, ceilings, windows, behind rear seats, side walls, and dash area.
  • Cleaning the workshop lunchroom and change rooms, including toilet areas.
  • Cleaning office areas, carpets, desks, emptying office bins, and cleaning toilet areas including the driver’s room.
  • Implementing quality control and assurance procedures to ensure fleet presentation standards, particularly regarding internal cleanliness, graffiti removal, and external bus presentation.
  • Performing ad-hoc tasks and other duties as directed.

What We’re Looking For

Essential Qualities:

  • Adequate verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to complete tasks both autonomously and within a wider team.
  • Efficient organisational and time management skills to plan and prioritise tasks.
  • Physically fit this role encompasses general labouring and is of a manual nature.
  • Willing to take direction and have a keen eye for detail.
  • Reliable, punctual, and well presented.
  • Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or have unrestricted working rights in Australia.
  • Willing to undergo a pre-employment medical check and working with children check.

Highly Regarded:

  • Previous commercial cleaning experience.
  • Previous vehicle detailing experience.
  • Unrestricted Australian Drivers licence.
