Key Responsibilities

As a Painter, you’ll be responsible for achieving the desired aesthetic and protective qualities of Crusoe’s products.

  • Painting Operations: Operate a spray painter or other equipment to apply industrial paint finishes on metals or manufactured products. May paint by hand when needed.
  • Paint Preparation: Mix paints and other solutions according to specifications.
  • Finishing Processes: Complete finishing with baking, polishing, or other materials as required.
  • Quality Control: Monitor drying processes to ensure desired results and adherence to quality standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.

Schedule

  • Hours: Monday – Thursday, 4:00 PM – 2:30 AM (2nd shift)

What You’ll Bring to the Team

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 1+ years of general work experience.
  • Apprenticeship and-or formal training in production painting is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

  • Requires lifting, lowering, pushing, and pulling merchandise up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand, walk, stoop, and bend for 8 hours or more daily.
  • Constant use of arms, hands, fingers, eyes, legs, and back required.

Safety Compliance:

  • This is a safety-sensitive position located in a safety-sensitive facility.
  • Drug and alcohol program participation is required.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants who receive a job offer must submit to a medical evaluation to confirm their ability to wear a respirator.

Soft Skills:

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and follow-up skills.
  • Team player willing to take on additional roles as needed.
  • Good attitude and willingness to learn.

Compensation

  • Hourly Rate: $19 – $27 per hour, plus bonus
  • Shift Differential: 10% additional for 2nd shift
  • Restricted Stock Units: Included in all offers
  • Total Compensation: Determined by education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, internal equity, and alignment with market data
