Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and drive automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products.
  • Provide professional customer service at all times.
  • Receive and relay information to central dispatch.
  • Assemble, install, and set up merchandise/products as required.
  • Keep accurate records of items received and delivered.
  • Prepare, package, and restock goods.
  • Sort packages for delivery efficiently.
  • Record trip information such as vehicle mileage, fuel costs, and any problems encountered.
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, overseeing all aspects of vehicle safety.

Qualifications

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in delivery driving or a related field.
  • Valid Class 5-5F-G Licence (cars, small trucks, and other 2-axle vehicles).
  • Clean criminal record check.
  • Ability to handle weights up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
  • Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Flexibility for early morning, evening, weekend, and on-call shifts.
  • Own cellular phone for communication.
  • Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, and judgment.
  • Organized, reliable, dependable, and punctual.
  • Willing to relocate for this position if needed.
