What You’ll Be Doing
You will be a welcomed member of the Long Term Care team at Lake Country Lodge, working in a fast-paced environment where you will make a meaningful difference in residents’ lives. As a Housekeeping Aide, you will do meaningful work every day ensuring a safe and clean environment for residents. As an individual and part of a wider team, you will be a strong contributor to the culture of the home, where the focus is always on helping residents live fully, every day.
1. Provide Thorough Cleaning
- Provide excellent cleaning and sanitizing of residents’ rooms as well as common areas in the community.
- Ensure supplies are suitable and equipment is in proper working order.
- Deliver cleaning in a positive and professional manner.
2. Provide Resident Privacy and Room Preparation
- Ensure residents’ privacy is respected at all times.
- Prepare rooms for new residents, ensuring they are clean, sanitized, and welcoming.

Who You Are
- Secondary school graduate or approved equivalent.
- Legally eligible to work in Canada or hold a valid work/study permit.
- Must successfully pass a Vulnerable Sector Check and Criminal Records Check (applicable to British Columbia applicants).

Compensation
- Wage Leveling Rate: $24.34 per hour (until such time that wage leveling ends, then the pay rate will reflect the collective agreement pay rates)
