Cervello Global Corporation is seeking several US Citizen Delivery Drivers to join our Specialized Transportation Services (STS) division. In this role, you’ll ensure proper handling, processing, and last tactical mile pickup and delivery of sensitive Department of Defense (DoD) or commercial cargo shipments. You’ll safely and efficiently transport cargo in Japan, adhering to all local and international transportation regulations while maintaining the integrity and security of the cargo. This is a critical role supporting military operations and logistics across key locations in Japan.

Key Responsibilities
Pickup and Delivery Operations:
- Transport cargo from Narita International Airport (Narita, Chiba, Japan) to Misawa Air Base or Yokota Air Base.
- Execute multiple deliveries per day as required by task orders.
- Follow pre-planned routes accurately without deviation from set course or Transportation Facilities Guide (TFG).
Communication and Coordination:
- Communicate with origin and destination customers by phone to update them on delivery times, issues, or changes to estimated pickup and delivery dates.
- Maintain clear communication with the coordinator and global dispatch team, updating them on progress, delays, or issues.
Driving and Transportation:
- Operate transport vehicles with the utmost care, ensuring timely and secure delivery of cargo.
- Adhere to all local, national, and international driving and transportation regulations.
- Ensure all necessary permits and licenses are up to date.
Cargo Integrity:
- Ensure cargo remains secure and undamaged during transport, taking all necessary precautions.
- Maintain the integrity and security of sensitive DoD and commercial shipments.
Documentation:
- Maintain accurate logs of trips, distances covered, fuel consumption, and any incidents or challenges faced during transportation.
Vehicle Maintenance:
- Regularly inspect the transport vehicle for potential issues and carry out basic maintenance tasks.
- Report any major concerns to the coordinator or management for resolution.
Safety:
- Prioritize personal safety, the safety of the cargo, and the safety of others on the road.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and standards set by Cervello Global Corporation.
Qualifications
Essential Requirements:
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be physically located or live within 80 kilometers of Yokohama, Japan.
- Valid driver’s license appropriate for the vehicle type.
- Clean driving record with no major violations.
- Ability to pass a background check and security clearance for DoD cargo handling.
- Strong commitment to safety and compliance with all regulations.
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with customers and dispatch.
- Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor.
- Ability to follow pre-planned routes accurately without deviation.
Preferred Experience:
- Previous experience in military logistics, DoD cargo transport, or sensitive freight handling.
- Familiarity with Narita Airport, Misawa Air Base, and Yokota Air Base locations.
- Experience with long-distance or tactical mile deliveries.
