We are seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic, and caring person to join our team as a Maintenance Handy-person working across our Home and Community Care settings in Port Augusta. This position provides home maintenance and gardening services to customers within the community, helping support people to live independently at home. Duties and Responsibilities
As a Maintenance Handy-person, you’ll provide essential services that help our customers maintain safe, comfortable homes:
- Gardening and grounds maintenance
- Window and gutter cleaning
- Minor carpentry repairs and fence repairs
- Removal of minor green waste
- Minor tree cutting and low-level garden tidies
Skills and Experience
We’re looking for someone with the right attitude and practical skills:
- A passion for looking after and caring for people.
- Appropriate working at heights certification.
- A current driver’s licence and your own registered, insured, roadworthy vehicle.
- Previous experience is advantageous but not essential—we value your willingness to learn and care.
