Key Responsibilities
As a Cleaning Specialist, your daily duties will include:
- Carrying out cleaning duties in assigned areas, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, clearing bins, and sanitising surfaces.
- Cleaning and disinfecting restrooms, break areas, massage rooms, and high-touch surfaces such as doorknobs and light switches.
- Performing specialised cleaning such as carpet shampooing, floor polishing, and window cleaning when required.
- Handling and maintaining cleaning equipment and tools properly.
- Following cleaning schedules and task checklists to ensure thorough coverage.
- Ensuring sufficient stocks of cleaning supplies are maintained.
- Safely using cleaning chemicals in accordance with safety guidelines.
- Disposing of waste, recyclables, and hazardous materials appropriately.
- Reporting maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards to the supervisor.
- Maintaining a high standard of personal hygiene and professionalism while on duty.
- Following health, safety, and infection control procedures at all times.
- Performing any other duties as assigned.
