We’re now looking for an experienced Grader Operator with a keen interest in unsealed roads to join our team working on the Hurunui District Council Road Maintenance network.

About the Role
This is a critical role that enables the successful applicant to have a high level of ownership, job satisfaction, and responsibility for their day-to-day activities. You will have a good knowledge of road construction methodology and standard specifications, as well as proven experience in all facets of grader operation. You’ll work quickly and efficiently while delivering quality work on the Hurunui District Council Road Maintenance network.
What You’ll Bring
- Multi-skilled in the operation of graders.
- WTR endorsements.
- Class 4 Driver Licence.
- Class 5 Driver Licence (desirable).
- STMS CAT A-B – Practicing or mobile (desirable).
- Physically fit and self-motivated.
- Health and Safety conscious with a positive attitude.
